Who is Akash?
I’m from Mumbai 
a city that never really lets you stand still. It’s where I learned to stay curious, adapt fast, and find patterns in chaos. With over five years of experience in product design, my strength lies in connecting the dots between logic, empathy, and business. I love simplifying complex problems, building systems that scale, and crafting experiences that feel invisible.
What I’m cooking lately?
Lately, I’ve been exploring how AI can reshape the way we design from generating new ideas to automating the repetitive parts of the process. I enjoy tinkering with custom GPTs, Figma MCP, and generative tools that make design faster, smarter, and a little more unpredictable in the best way.
Outside of that, I’m helping my wife grow her interior design studio 
whether it’s designing ad creatives or editing reels, I love being part of that hustle. I’m also building a side project called Inch 
a finance-tracking app made specifically for interior designers. It’s my personal playground to experiment, make mistakes, and learn fast. (Case study coming soon)
When I’m not designing
I like playing chess in quiet corners 
, hunting down great food 
, or traveling to places 
. But my favorite hours are the ones spent with my two-year-old nephew 
, who’s currently teaching me more about curiosity and patience than any design book ever could.
The next chapter
After four incredible years at Kotak, working with a brilliant design team 
, I’m ready for a new challenge something faster, and deeply product-focused. I’m looking to join a high-agency team. A place where curiosity, ownership, and velocity matters.
